A beautiful Judaica wall hanging featuring the complete Hebrew text of Eshet Chayil (אשת חיל), which translates to "Woman of Valor".
• The text originates from the Biblical Book of Proverbs (Chapter 31:10–31). Written as an alphabetic acrostic, each line begins with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
• It is traditionally sung or recited by a husband to his wife at the Shabbat evening table on Friday nights to honor the matriarch of the home for her wisdom, strength, and dedication.
Styled in traditional Israeli metalwork (most likely by Karshi Jerusalem), it combines an ornate, heavy-relief outer border featuring stylized floral motifs with a central mirror insert displaying the text in traditional Hebrew calligraphy.
Approximately 15 5/8” in diameter.
Excellent vintage condition.
