Vintage enameled brass letter opener featuring mid-century Israeli folk art design. Made in Israel. It belongs to a style of mid-20th-century decorative brassware often referred to as "Israeliana". The wide handle is shaped like a pointed oval or teardrop, decorated with a hand-painted depiction of a menorah (a traditional seven-branched candelabrum) and stylized text reading "ISRAEL".
