Hanukkah menorah, also known as a Hanukiah or Chanukiah. It is a nine-branched candelabrum used during the eight-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, with the ninth holder (the shamash, or "helper" candle) used to light the others.
This specific menorah features a curved, wall-like design with an embossed relief of the Western Wall (Kotel) in Jerusalem, a significant holy site in Judaism.
It’s a silver colored item, likely made of brass or a zinc alloy as a base metal. The candle cups are copper.
The Hebrew writing on the front reads "הנרות הללו קודש הם" (Hanerot Halalu Kodesh Hem), which translates to "These candles are holy".
Signed and dated on the back “Handcrafted by Shalom B 1993”.
