Brass Shabbat Candle Holders circa 1970s.

During the 1970s and 1980s, Chinese metalcraft factories exported vast quantities of these hand-etched brass items to Western markets. The delicate floral motifs and geometric hexagon base are iconic characteristics of Chinese export brassware from that era. Stamped "CHINA" mark directly into the metal on the underside of the hexagonal base.
